The Friends of North Bay Railway are holding a friends, volunteers and staff Christmas party at the Glass House Bistro on Sun 6 Dec 2009. Tickets are £3.00 and include a buffet, kareoke and disco. Also appearing will be top local covers band 'The Coosticks' featuring their Christmas set. Tickets available from the Glass House, limited numbers only. Licenced bar available. |

November 2009 Welcome to the Friends of North Bay Railway web site. This site is for all people interested in the running, maintenance and future development of the North Bay Railway Scarbrough. New members and volunteers always welcome. The first Annual General Meeting was held in the Glass House Cafe on Wed 15 October 2008. Here a new committee was appointed and David Humphries from the North Bay Railway Company Limited outlined the future developments of the railway. The second AGM was held in Oct 2009 and all committe members were re-elected. |
Christmas Party NIghtThe FONBR will be hosting a Christmas party night on Sun 6th Dec 2009 at the Glass House Bistro. Admission is by ticket only, £3 including buffet, live band, Kareoke and disco. Santa Special Present PackingAll volunteers will be made welcome on Wed 2 Dec when much help will be needed with the wrapping of the presents for the 2009 Santa Special. Time 7.00pm Venue: Glass House Bistro. Bring enthusiasm. |

 The Friends of North Bay Railway held a quiz night on Wed 1st April at the Glass House Bistro, Peasholme Station.
There was a selection of top prizes including a chance to drive an engine and meals at the Glass House Bistro. Teams came from as far apart as Whitby for this excellent evening where a team of four won the top prize. All were made welcome with funds raised going towards the Friends of North Bay Railway. |
